When to go to Conwy & Llandudno

April to October is best; the resort is busiest in July and August.

The north coast is relatively sheltered and a little drier than the mountains behind it. Many attractions run reduced hours from November to March.

Autumn (September–November)

Mussel season begins, and Conwy has traditionally held a food festival in the autumn.

Winter (December–February)

Quiet and windy, with low prices. The castle stays open with shorter hours.

Approximate long-term averages, rounded; daylight is the approximate time between sunrise and sunset mid-month. Wales is mild but wet, and the mountains are colder, windier and wetter than the coast: pack layers in every season.
