When to go to Anglesey (Ynys Môn)

May to September for beaches and seabirds; any time for castles and walks.

Anglesey is flatter, sunnier and often drier than the mountains on the mainland, though it is exposed to wind.

The best beach weather and boat trips; the solstice at Bryn Celli Ddu in June.

Autumn (September–November)

Mild, with migrating birds and quiet beaches.

Winter (December–February)

Windy and wild; good for bracing walks. St Dwynwen’s Day on 25 January.
